MT. ALTO, W.Va. -- The American Motor Racing Association (AMRA) has announced plans for its upcoming 2011 banquet at Cedar Lakes Conference Center near Ripley, WV on Saturday, November 26. Originally slated for earlier in the month, the banquet has been moved to the Nov. 26 date. The 18th annual banquet will be for the MALTA Doors and Windows Modified Division’s National Points, Road Warrior Challenge, and the AMRA Late Model Division, plus modified Rookie of the Year honors.

Drivers are expected to be in attendance to receive their awards, and to have photos taken for posterity's sake and archiving. Tickets are $25 each.

Individual Track Champions from the AMRA series in the above divisions will also be recognized. Dress for the event is semi-formal with attendees, especially Owners/Drivers/Crew Members, requested to wear a sports coat and tie as local and national media will be on hand to cover this event. Photo coverage will be included.

Since 1993 over half a million dollars has been awarded in prizes and point’s contingencies at the annual AMRA banquet. This year’s cash prizes push the AMRA record near $650,000.
